Your expensive electronics are constantly assaulted by poor power factor, even when
they are turned off. Voltage transients, noise, and spikes come not only from outside
your home or business, but from within as well. Your heating and cooling system, refrigerator,
and fans have motors that generate surges and noise when they are turned
on and off. These surges, spikes, and notches can have enough energy to damage
expensive equipment, such as HDTVs and computers, and can dramatically shorten
their lifespan.
High frequency noise can also interfere with
microprocessor operation and communication by
radiating Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio
Frequency Interference (RFI). This leads to data loss, poor
audio fidelity and low video quality.
The e-Radicator II has 3 modes of protection. MOV’s protect
from the most damaging energy, high voltage spikes.
A differential mode filter protects from line spikes and high
frequency generated noise, while a two-stage common
mode filter protects from radiated high frequency noise
