The Bonitron S3460UR Ride-Thru System protects variable frequency drives (VFDs) from line sags and outages.
When full outage protection for up to 2 seconds is needed the S3460UR is the ideal solution for 50 to 1350kW systems. The S3460UR stores energy in ultracapacitor banks and releases it back into the drive’s DC bus when needed. This allows the drive to Ride-Thru events while maintaining motor speed and torque, without experiencing drive shutdown.
The S3460UR is a pre-engineered system with disconnects, displays, and all the hardware needed for a complete solution.
